Glenn called us up with a bit of a problem; the sound in his Mini wasn’t working. Glenn loves his Mini, so we brought it in to diagnose, and soon discovered that the factory amplifier for the Harman Kardon audio system was kaput – and a replacement from Mini was several $thousands! Not wanting to pay an exorbitant fee for a sub-par product, we were asked to provide an alternative.

Luckily we have a few products up our sleeve that are not only cheaper but they provide a MUCH better end result with significantly more amplifier power, and give us complete tunability of the system. An Audison Forza AFC8.14Bit 8channel DSP amplifier was selected for the job, and a custom patch harness was made to allow us to easily replace the factory amplifier and eliminate any cutting or splicing into the factory wiring. Everything was mounted into the factory amplifier location, and the system was tuned to give Glenn a far more dynamic, lively system with more depth and bass impact.
